Area Access
Our permit strictly permits us to charge for services rendered exclusively on officially designated trails. Consequently, we are not authorized to levy charges for any trail systems that do not have official status. We recognize that it is inequitable for visitors to the area to be unable to experience some of the most sought-after locations due to a lack of information regarding proper access points. Leave No Trace Adventures effectively addresses this issue.

Adena & Indian Arch Adventure
Embark on a thrilling 3.5-mile guided hike through the stunning landscapes surrounding Adena and Indian Arch. This adventure has it all, featuring breathtaking arches, picturesque overlooks, and stunning vistas that will take your breath away. As you traverse the trail, you'll encounter fascinating rock shelters and enjoy panoramic ridgetop views, along with serene observations of the forest floor below. Whether you're an experienced hiker or a casual explorer, this hike promises a diverse array of natural wonders waiting to be discovered at every turn.
Cherokee Arch Adventure
The Cherokee Arch Adventure offers a unique experience for those seeking the beauty of nature under the stars. Nestled near popular hiking attractions, this stunning arch, with water cascading gracefully over its rocky surface, is a hidden gem that many overlook. The lack of an official trail keeps it a secluded sanctuary, making it perfect for guided night hikes. As you embark on this enchanting journey, the soft glow of the moonlight illuminates the arch's intricate features, while the soothing sounds of water enhance the serene atmosphere.
White's Branch Area Adventure
The Narrows and White’s Branch Arch are unique because they are a rare arch with a road over it. The road was closed in the early 2000’s to vehicular traffic, and it is a fabulous hike. The descent to the arch is not marked and on an unofficial trail, but walking out on top of the Narrows provides great views and a nice official trail without even descending below. Natural Bridge, White’s Branch Arch and the Narrows are technically NOT in the Red River Gorge Geological Area, but rather in the Natural Bridge State Resort Park and the Kentucky State Nature Preserve.
Turtleback Arch Adventure
This hike through the Clifty Wilderness offers a remarkable journey through a mature hemlock forest, highlighting one of the largest bigleaf magnolias in the region. Turtle Back Arch is particularly striking, featuring a secondary window on its front side and exquisite sandstone erosion patterns on its rear. It is important to note that this trail is unmarked and includes a brief scramble, which seems intimidating but can be accomplished by sitting on the forest floor and stepping down without issue.
Hopewell Arch Adventure
Hopewell Arch might not be featured on the lists of the country’s best arches, but that's precisely what makes it an ideal destination for a memorable guided hike. Nestled beside a small cascade along Copperas Creek, this stunning double-window geological feature offers a serene escape from the bustling crowds. Guided hikes to Hopewell Arch provide an enchanting atmosphere where the beauty of the natural world seems to be magnified.
